By engineers. For people who know the sea.
Hill Maritime Group specialises in yacht engineer recruitment and crew placement worldwide. Our team brings over 50 years of combined industry experience—and a practical understanding of life on board.
We know the responsibility behind the job title. Qualifications matter, but so do sound judgement, reliability and the ability to work well within a crew.
Hill Maritime Group is by far the most attentive and personable recruitment service you could ask for. The team are honest, professional, prompt and focused on fitting the right person for the role. We have had the pleasure of dealing with Pete and the team at HMG for many roles now and feel as though they are now part of our family, they care that much on finding the right fit for our yacht.
They take the time to understand and personalise each job description to really find out exactly what we are looking for to ensure they provide the right candidates. Their service is truly amazing, they go above and beyond… the extra 5%.
I would recommend any yacht, Captain, Owner, Management Company to use HMG if they are not already!

Engineered Excellence
Longevity in positions has long been a passion at HMG and we seek to place people in positions that satisfy personal, professional and aspirational objectives of all involved. When seafarers hold long time positions, it is beneficial to all involved. Knowledge is key. Knowledge comes from experience and experience is gained by time spent in a position. We have all held long term positions on our vessels and know just how valuable longevity is to the discerning Owner/Captain.
Hill Maritime seeks to go beyond simply matching licenses to requirements and strives to place seafarers with a vessel that suits their desired aspirations and work/life balance.
HMG understands the importance of not only qualifications and experience but also of what is on offer to the seafarer, a happy crew is a productive crew. Let us help you find and place a key member of any crew, your Engineer.
